gmail newsletterA huge announcement from the people at Google; they have become the world’s largest email service provider.  After duking it out with Hotmail for years, Gmail has finally overtaken them as the clear #1.

Although the numbers are debated, it’s clear they’ve become a giant in the email space.  We’ve seen it here at FlashIssue as most of our users choose to send their newsletters out through Gmail. In response to the demand, we’ve unleashed the Clipper Plug-in that lets you directly add content you’ve found on the web to a new message inside Gmail.

It’s part of a mission we’re on to make it easy to send newsletters from your Gmail account.  As it stands, there isn’t an easy way to utilize Gmail for personal or business newsletters even though the majority of people now use it as their email service provider.
