Curata, another company in the curation space has released a study about the curating habits of marketers.  In short, everyone is doing it.

There are three big points to take away from this study:

1. Curating is extremely important.  When 95% of an industry’s professionals are doing something, it probably means it’s important.

2. Email is vital.  Although it didn’t grab the top spot among marketers, email came in as a very close second.  A good curation program takes advantage of both channels.

3.  This study only talks about marketers.  We’ve talked about how social channels get the most attention but it’s email that is still the best way to share content across the board.  The Curata study is good but it only takes in to account those in the marketing industry which is only a snapshot of the larger picture.
