One of the biggest players in the music scene has put their weight behind curation.
It’s easy to think about curating content exclusively as a tool for internet marketers who want to share useful articles. This would be a mistake. The idea behind curation is that there is value behind the people who put together a list of useful materials on a subject. This could be products, music, articles, ideas…literally anything.
As this short articles notes, there are only 24 hours in a day. There is simply not enough time to process all of the information around a subject even if you are an ‘expert’ in the field. Thus, the people who can cut through the mess and deliver a useful list of quality information will be king.
