content curation funnelWe’ve talked before about the tsunami of information that has taken over the internet and made it difficult to find quality material.  The main reason for this is the rise of new media outlets (Facebook, YouTube, Hulu, Twitter, Pinterest, etc…) that now complement the old guard (newspaper, television, magazine).

If you have ever felt overwhelmed by the volume of information on the web, there is probably a good chance your audience has shared that same feeling.

Finding what you’re looking for can be a daunting process, which is a great reason why your business should jump in provide solutions.  Being an expert in your field gives you a great opportunity to find, filter and sort relevant information for your audience.

Think of it like a funnel.  At the top, you pull in all the content in your space that is relevant to your industry.  The middle is where you evaluate, filter and organize that material.  The bottom is where you release the final, hand-selected list of top quality content to your audience.  This could be in the form of a great newsletter, social media post or a video.
