IKEA Expands Content Marketing With Launch of YouTube Channel | Content Marketing Institute

IKEA is another business heavyweight that is using content marketing to get their message out. Their content strategy is focused on providing useful videos on YouTube.
Unlike a content curation strategy, IKEA actually creates original videos for their channel. The company currently has eight playlists on a range of topics including ‘how to’ videos, style ideas as well as all of their television advertisements.
Another prong of their web content strategy is a photo sharing site called Share Space. The concept is that IKEA customers can upload pictures of their own rooms featuring items bought in the store. It’s almost like they’ve created their own mini version of Pinterest, a smart way to get customers thinking about more ways they can incorporate IKEA products in to their lives.
