Brands need to do more than just pitch their product and hope for a sale.  They need to provide great content that will engage their audience.  Sometimes that means educating the consumer on what’s possible.

John Deere, Michelin and Jell-O are a few examples of companies that embraced this philosophy and developed materials that didn’t directly advertise their product, they just provided education to potential customers.  It’s a a testament to their value that many of these publications are still in production years later.

If you can connect with your audience by providing relevant content that enriches their life, you are in a great position to eventually convert them as customers.
