You make be asking yourself what a ‘curated newsletter’ actually looks like. Well, you’ve probably seen one before (think LinkedIn digest) and not even known it. It’s a powerful new way to stay in front of customers and leads without being pushy.
Here is how it works:
- Find blogs, articles, videos, photos and other web content your audience will love
- Hand-pick the best material and add it to the FlashIssue web app
- Send it out using your favorite email provider (Gmail, MailChimp, Aweber, etc…)
Things to remember:
- This is indirect marketing so keep the pitching to a minimum
- Make it easy to connect to your social pages
- Keep the content topical but fun
- Give the people what they want, take notice of what your audience is looking at
Would your email marketing campaign be fun at parties? Some campaigns get the conversation rolling with fun and interesting content. Other campaigns just talk about themselves all night until the host comes along and ushers them out the door.
